While practicing law is definitely a full time endeavor, Richard Storrs believes in being involved and giving back to his community.

Richard is an active adult scouter with the Boy Scouts of America. He serves on the Advancement Committee for the Phoenix District of the Atlanta Area Council. The Advancement Committee organizes monthly Eagle Scout Boards of Review, and its members meet with individual Life Scouts to approve Eagle Scout Projects. He formerly served on the troop committee and as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 74 in Atlanta.

Richard also volunteers his time with the Truancy Intervention Project of the Atlanta Bar Association, appearing in juvenile court several times a year to assist children accused of truancy and assist them in getting back on track.

Previously, Richard served on the Board of Education at the Cathedral of Christ the King, and also served on the Board of the State YMCA of Georgia.
